Creating Culture through A Simple Tool

Having a simple tool to communicate discipleship, evangelism, and gospel fluency in your ministry is key in creating a healthy culture. This video discusses two successful examples of such tools, and some practical considerations for implementing them.

Ronnie Goble (H2O Church – Bowling Green, OH)

Jeff Dodge (Cornerstone – Ames, IA)

Brian Frye (SEND Network – NAMB)

Key Points:

  • Immersing new believers and/or church members in an experience where they receive both content and relationship is essential to discipleship and creating a unified culture in your ministry.
  • By driving everyone to one thing, you have the opportunity to repeatedly cast a clear vision.
  • An experience like The Well (h2o) or Theology of the Gospel (Cornerstone) provides a common language for discipleship, evangelism, community, mission, and everything else in your church culture.

Questions to consider:

  • What are you using to create language and shape culture in your church or ministry?
  • How could a tool like Theology of the Gospel or The Well be implemented into your ministry?
